i had the lovliest time yesterday walking around my hometown with my best friend for four hours....

"oh, oh!! do you remember the time....?"

laughing, questioning, confessing... yeah, there was some serious talk. it was nice. almost cathartic for me.

and in my book. that is the greatest measure of a friendship: the ability to pick up out of nowhere, do absolutely nothing, and have a terrific time.

time and distance have essentially changed nothing.
